It was a unanimous Declaration of the thirteen “United States of America.” We invite you to read a transcription of the complete text of the Declaration of Independence. (Source: The U.S. National Archives) By the way, did you know that the American Declaration of Independence was one of the sources for Vietnam’s Declaration of Independence by President Ho Chi Minh in Hanoi on National Foundation Day, 2 Sep 1945? His opening words were: “‘All men are created equal. They are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.’ This immortal statement was made in the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America in 1776. In a broader sense, this means: All the nations on the earth are equal from birth, all the nations have the right to live, to be happy and free.”
