Vacation, beach time … and blood donations?

You heard right. The need for blood doesn’t take a summer break. Volunteer donors are the only source of blood to save lives of trauma victims, surgical patients, and patients with life-threatening blood diseases. Follow The World Blood Donor Day 2023 slogan “Give blood, give plasma, share life, share often.”, AmCham is now working with the Hospital of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (BTH) and Victoria Healthcare Clinic to organize Summer Blood Donor Day 2023 which is an event in the chain of AmCham CSR activities. It focuses on the availability and willingness to donate of voluntary blood donors when it comes to high season of blood shortage like summer. Furthermore, it strongly encourages people to be a friend indeed of others and appreciate the spirit of giving back to the society.
