Chairman Mai will be accompanied by 8-10 People’s Committee representatives from relevant departments. U.S. Consul General Marie Damour and Economic Chief Alex Tatsis also have been invited.

Chairman Mai is interested in an interactive exchange with leading U.S. investors and AmCham member companies to better understand what you see as the key opportunities and challenges for your businesses, as well as how AmCham and City leaders can partner to attract more investment and drive innovation and sustainable growth in Ho Chi Minh City. Chairman Mai has expressed special interest in growing high-value manufacturing and sustainable supply chains, enabling the digital economy, promoting healthcare and wellness, and developing a globally competitive workforce.

This exclusive, invite-only event will take place on Tuesday, May 17, from 4:30PM-7:30PM at the Reverie Saigon. Seating is limited. Please register below by Friday, May 6 at 5PM. Chairman Phan Van Mai is a member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the HCMC’s Party Committee, head of the HCM City National Assembly Delegation.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the HCMC’s Party Committee Phan Van Mai was elected as Chairman of the People’s Committee of HCMC for the 2021-2026 term at the second session of the 10th People’s Council on August 24, 2021. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and bachelor’s degree in English.
