Time: 5:45 PM – 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 3, 2022
Venue: InterContinental Saigon, Corner Hai Ba Trung & Le Duan Blvd., D1

On behalf of Winnie Wong, Chair of AmCham Vietnam here in HCMC, we are delighted to extend a special invitation to you for our second Chair’s Circle event of the year, a welcome cocktail reception for newly-arrived U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam Marc Knapper and his wife, Mrs. Suzuko Knapper. Ambassador and Mrs. Knapper will be joined by Consul General Marie Damour, Deputy Principal Officer Robert Greenan, and Honorary Board Liaiasons Alex Tatsis and Stephen Jacques. This exclusive, invite-only event will take place on Thursday, March 3rd, from 5:45-7:00 PM, in the Cat Ba Room, just before the Welcome Dinner for Ambassador Knapper that we are hosting at the Intercon Saigon. While there is no charge for this special Chair’s Circle cocktail event, please make sure you register below for our planning purposes. Also, please register for the dinner now if you have not already done so.

The event will allow an opportunity for informal networking and photo opps while enjoying a special signature cocktail in honor of Ambassador Knapper prepared with Son Tinh, Vietnam’s only-award winning rice liqueur and now owned by American long-term investor and entrepreneur in Vietnam, Michael Rosen, who has traveled from Hanoi for the occasion. Then, we will have an opportunity for a brief discussion of key trade and investment challenges and opportunities and challenges, before joining the rest of the attendees for the dinner in Ballroom 1.

The event will take place in the 2nd Floor Cat Ba Function Room. Please take the elevator to the right as you enter the lobby. As a precautionary measure, we encourage all attendees to do a COVID rapid antigen self-test the day of the event prior to arrival and to stay home if you are not feeling well. We look forward to a fun and insightful evening!
