Carolyn Manley is CPSC’s Southeast Asia Program Manager.  Prior to joining the Office of International Programs, she served as the Assistant Division Director for the Regulatory Enforcement Division, in the Office of Compliance and Field Operations. Mrs. Manley oversaw and managed the Children’s Products and Durable Nursery Products and Flammability Team at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, a post that she held since 2009. Mrs. Manley joined the Commission in November 2001, as a Compliance Officer on the Children’s Product Team, where she was then responsible for investigating potentially defective non-regulated and violative regulated consumer products. Mrs. Manley is regarded as a subject matter expert in the enforcement of voluntary and mandatory regulations for children’s products and managed a team of flammability subject matter experts. Mrs. Manley has represented CPSC and participated on panels at Toy Fair, trade shows and international forums, such as The International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization (ICPHSO).

Prior to joining CPSC, Mrs. Manley worked in the private sector where she held positions in management and marketing; she also previously managed the daily operations of CPSC’s Hotline.  Mrs. Manley graduated from University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism.

Steve Williams joined the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in December 2014 to serve as an International Program Manager. In this role, he works as part of a team responsible for the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s engagement with foreign governments and manufacturers, as well as with international organizations involved in consumer product safety.

He works with product safety regulators in Asia in efforts to improve product safety throughout the supply chain. He also provides guidance on U.S. consumer product safety requirements to manufacturers and industry organizations.

Before joining the CPSC, Steve was a Deputy Director of the Trade Agreements program at the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration. Steve participated in trade agreement negotiations, as well as outreach and training for the U.S. and international business community, particularly small businesses.

Trước khi gia nhập CPSC, Steve là Phó Giám đốc Chương trình Hiệp định Thương mại tại Cục Quản lý Thương mại Quốc tế, Bộ Thương Mại Hoa Kỳ. Steve tham gia đàm phán hiệp định thương mại, cũng như tiếp cận và đào tạo cho cộng đồng doanh nghiệp Hoa Kỳ và quốc tế, đặc biệt là các doanh nghiệp nhỏ.

Allyson Tenney is the Director for the Division of Engineering in the Directorate for Laboratory Sciences at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The Division is responsible for providing technical expertise on a variety of issues relating to textile flammability and the standards under the Flammable Fabrics Act (FFA). Regulated products under the FFA include carpets/rugs, mattresses, clothing textiles, children’s sleepwear, and apparel.

Allyson joined the CPSC in February 2000 as a Textile Technologist in The Directorate for Engineering Sciences. More recently, Allyson served as the Team Lead of the Textile Flammability Team in the Office of Compliance where she managed a team responsible for enforcing the regulations under the FFA.

Prior to joining the CPSC, Allyson worked on standards and specifications at the American Textile Manufacturers Institute (ATMI), the national trade association for the domestic textile industry. She was also an International Sales and Product Manager for Alpha Industries, Inc., a manufacturer of high performance outerwear for military and consumer markets.

Allyson is an international spokesperson for the Commission on textile and flammability issues.  Allyson holds a Master of Science in Textile Science from The Ohio State University.  She resides in Bethesda, Maryland.

Bà cũng từng là Giám đốc Sản phẩm và Bán hàng Quốc tế cho Alpha Industries, Inc., công ty sản xuất áo khoác ngoài chất lượng cao cho quân đội và cho thị trường tiêu dùng.

Allyson là người phát ngôn quốc tế của Ủy ban về các vấn đề dệt may và sản phẩm dễ cháy. Allyson có bằng Thạc sĩ Khoa học về Khoa học Dệt may tại Đại học Tiểu bang Ohio. Bà sinh sống tại Bethesda, Maryland.
