Event Description

People talk a lot about the Fourth Industrial Revolution (i4) and how it will transform the way we live, work, and manage business activity across the whole economy. Companies of all shapes and sizes are working to incorporate digital and analytical technologies into systems and processes. These technologies are making production faster and smarter than ever before. Most business people see the technology disruption from things like AI, IoT, 3D-printing, and advanced robotics as more of an opportunity than a threat. However, as with all technological change, there will be many people that don’t benefit. How will emerging economies such as Vietnam handle the opportunities and challenges from i4?

Will supply chain changes benefit or hurt Vietnam? Are Vietnamese policy makers ready to adopt intelligent lighting, energy saving devices, safety alarms, and intelligent transport to improve the growing cities here?

Join us at this luncheon to hear the latest global perspectives, trends and focus on Industry 4.0. Tim Hanley, Senior Partner with Deloitte USA will share the finding and recommendations from Deloitte’s recent survey on how companies are investing in i4-driven capabilities to enable digital transformation.
