Event Description
The logistics industry is listed as one of the top industries for disruption by technology and Vietnam is one of the fastest growing logistics markets globally. There is a lot of buzz about the convergence of these trends both among regulators and businesses as the logistics industry continues to improve thus making Vietnam an attractive place for investment.
In this brief and insightful presentation, we will hear first-hand experience of a tech start up in Vietnam focused on improving the experience of domestic transportation for the industry at large – both shippers and truckers. LOGIVAN is the winner of The Pitch 2018 at RISE (Web Summit’s tech conference in Asia) and Uber Exchange, and has today announced closing a US$1.75m Series A funding round led by ETHOS Partners.
For the next AmCham Logistics and Supply Chain Committee and EuroCham Transportation and Logistics event, Ms. Linh Pham, CEO and Founder of LOGIVAN, will share her experience of the challenges facing startups innovating in the logistics space.

Ms. Linh Pham, Founder and CEO, LOGIVAN
Linh grew up in Hanoi before moving to the UK to study Natural Sciences at Cambridge University. As a student, Linh started her first company Snappetite, winning the SVC2UK Hackathon to meet then Prime Minister David Cameron. After graduating in cognitive neuroscience, Linh worked as a technology analyst for Goldman Sachs in London before returning to Vietnam.
In a project at a Vietnamese manufacturing company, Linh noticed the low utilisation rate of trucks, inspiring her to start LOGIVAN in September 2017. LOGIVAN is Uber for trucks, enabling real-time tracking of trucks and connecting directly to the drivers. Within three months, LOGIVAN had won the Uber exchange programme and raised a $600k seed investment from Insignia Ventures.
Now after winning “Best Startup” at the prestigious RISE conference in Hong Kong, Linh is excited to announce LOGIVAN’s $1.75m Series A round led by ETHOS Partners to enable the next phase of its expansion.
