Miquel Angel Perez Martorell
Founder at MQL Sustainable Tourism Services
Miquel Angel is a Catalan citizen who has been working in Southeast Asia since 1997, living in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and mostly Vietnam, currently based in Ho Chi Minh City.
His entire career has been linked to tourism, hospitality and sustainability, and now as Founder of MQL Sustainable Tourism Services.
He has served as head of the Human Resources & Quality working group since 2018 inside the Vietnam Tourism Advisory Board, advising the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Vietnam among others. Has also served for seven years as Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce Tourism Committee countrywide among other executive roles.
As Founder of the new company MQL Sustainable Tourism Services, Miquel Angel is closing the gap between local communities and projects linked to sustainability, eco-friendly tourism development and most important formation & educational support for new leaders & managers in the ASEAN T&H industry.
