Event Description
The business case for gender equality is well supported: Investing in women strengthens companies in their operations, supply chain and local communities. AmCham’s Women in Leadership and Human Resources Committees are privileged to host visiting Intel Corporation executive, Suzanne Fallender, Director of Corporate Responsibility, for an exploration of the business case for gender equality. Suzanne will share Intel’s case studies covering global strategies on investing in women, including in Vietnam. She will also share her experiences and insights of over 20 years in corporate responsibility including her leadership of Intel’s Global Girls and Women Initiative. Suzanne is based in the U.S., with more than 20 years of experience in corporate responsibility strategies and initiatives.

Suzanne Fallender
Director, Corporate Responsibility, Intel Corporation
Suzanne is currently Director of Corporate Responsibility. In this role, she collaborates with key stakeholders across the company to integrate corporate responsibility concepts into company strategies, policies, public reporting, and stakeholder engagement activities to advance Intel’s corporate responsibility leadership and create positive social impact and business value. Suzanne also leads Intel’s strategy around the concept of creating shared value, including engaging in research and partnerships to identify new opportunities to create both business value and social impact.
Her previous role includes Director of Intel’s Global Girls and Women Initiative, a set of strategic programs, partnerships, and policy engagements designed to empower millions of girls and women around the world through education and technology. Suzanne has more than 20 years of experience in the field of corporate responsibility and socially responsible investment. During her time at Intel, Suzanne has held a number of corporate responsibility-related roles.
Prior to her current role, Suzanne led Intel’s approach to corporate responsibility reporting and engagement with socially responsible investors, and worked with business groups across the company to integrate corporate responsibility into strategic planning, policies, communications, and employee engagement activities.
