The AmCham Board of Governors cordially invites you to the 24th Annual AmCham Governors’ Ball, this year to be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 6:00 pm. Once again, the InterContinental Saigon will host us in a sophisticated and festive style.

This year’s themed SILVER BALL will transport guests to the sparkle and wonder of the holiday season, complete with atmosphere and decorations exuding the magic of this special time of year, while subtly honoring AmCham’s 25^th“silver” anniversary in Vietnam.

The Governors’ Ball brings together 450 members of both our extended AmCham community, Vietnamese business, and government leaders and networks. As such, it provides a unique opportunity for companies to promote themselves to a large and influential audience, in a festive and charitable setting. AmCham Scholarships Programs

In the spirit of Christmas, all proceeds from the Governors’ Ball will go to support our flagship CSR initiative: the AmCham Scholarship Program and AmCham Women in Engineering Scholarship Program

The Scholarships Program recognizes top Vietnamese students at Vietnam National University, Banking University HCM City, Foreign Trade University in Ho Chi Minh City, Hoa Sen University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, Eastern International University, University of Economics HCMC , Vietnamese – German University, University of Finance and Marketing, HCM University of Technology (HUTECH),Ton Duc Thang University and FPT University, and helps prepare them to become local leaders in business, education, and society. After 17 years from 2001 to 2018, AmCham Scholarship Program has awarded to 625 winners and 250 runners-up from 18 universities. The AmCham Scholarships, managed by AmCham Alumni(ae) and HR associates at AmCham member companies, awards scholarships to approximately 60 students annually.

The AmCham Women in Engineering Scholarship Program’s purposes are to encourage and support FEMALE students to study in science and engineering fields and to pursue technical careers. From 2011 – 2019, the program has awarded to 315 future female engineers in Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho and Da Nang city.
