This month, our guest speaker is John Ditty who oversees the corporate citizenship and sustainability program at KPMG in Vietnam and Cambodia. In his presentation, John will give an overview from the international business perspective about the general concepts of corporate sustainability, CSR, and ESG, which includes a brief look at the International Business Council’s ESG metrics and disclosures, and a few tips on initial actions companies can take when thinking about improving relevant ESG metrics.
John Ditty has been living and working in Vietnam since 1993. From 2004 to 2009 he was KPMG’s Managing Partner of the Audit practice and from 2009 to 2018 he was the Managing Partner of the Advisory practice. He was the Quality & Risk Management Partner for the firm from 2004 until 2014, Chairman of the firm for four years until 2014 and, since 2018, he has been specifically responsible for Trust and Citizenship and for Quality & Risk Management for the Deals, Tax, Legal and Consulting businesses.
