IBEAR MBA Program Features

The IBEAR MBA is a full-time, 1-year MBA, June to June, for mid-career professionals seeking leadership roles in international business.

12-month immersion of 56 units in six terms. The bios for the IBEAR MBA-42 Class, which are available at: https://tinyurl.com/ibear42bios, provide a good understanding of the diversity and experience of a typical IBEAR MBA class.

International Business Consulting Projects. This is IBEAR’s capstone course. Over a 4-month period, teams of 5-6 students work with a client to develop proprietary reccommendations for one of its important business opportunities or challenges.

International Experiential Learning Program (IELP). This is a required 10-day component of the IBEAR MBA Program. IBEAR students pay the same $3,400 IELP fee as Marshall’s other MBA students pay. In 2019, the “Doing Business in China,”IELP will take the class to Shanghai and Shenzhen, the same as the 2018 program https://ibear-ielp.net/2018-schedule/.

Career Exploration Treks to Silicon Valley and Seattle. These experiential learning programs provide IBEAR students with opportunities to visit Fortune 500 companies, meet senior business leaders, and network with IBEAR and Marshall alumni. These Treks are funded through a combination of alumni donations, program fees, and student contributions. Personalized Career Development Services. IBEAR’s dedicated Career Advisor provides highly-personalized coaching and support to the self-sponsored students to help them identify and acheieve their career objectives. This support includes a broad range of career development workshops, networking opportunities, and “career-capture”activities.

Leadership & Executive Development Programs. These activities, which are provided for self-sponsored and sponsored students, include career development skill-building seminars, executive speakers, and roundtable discussions.

Scholarships. IBEAR MBA Global Business Fellows Awards of up to $50,000 to highly-qualified, self-sponsored students.
