Ca Mau gas, power, fertilizer complex inaugurated

VIR, Oct 27, 2012. The Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) held a ceremony to inaugurate the Ca Mau gas, power and fertilizer complex in Khanh An Commune, U Minh District, in the southernmost province of Ca Mau, on October 26.

Addressing the function, PetroVietnam’s General Director Do Van Hau stressed that the inauguration of the complex has great effects on the southwestern region and the whole country, making important contribution to realizing socio-economic development goals and ensuring social security in the Mekong Delta in general and Ca Mau province in particular.

It has also attracted and developed trade, services, engineering, material supply and created jobs for thousands of workers, Hau said, estimating that the industrial complex would contribute over 1 trillion VND to the province’s budget.

Bitexco to build US$ 500 mil twin towers in HCM City

Bitexco Ben Thanh Towers April 26, 2012. Bitexco, a multi-industry group, announced on April 26 that it will pour US$ 500 million into a trade centre-office-residential complex to be built in district 1, HCM City.

The General Director of Bitexco Group, In-Suk Ko, said that The One Ho Chi Minh City will get off the ground on April 27, covering a total area of 8,600 square meters.

The complex will include two towers of 55 and 48 stories, a trade centre, offices, and apartments for rent, and a six-star Ritz Carlton hotel.
