Draft of the Labor Code (amended) is currently revised and finalized by the Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs to submit to the Government for the first time in April 2019. This is a Code with a vast scope of adjustment and a profound effect on the business environment in Vietnam as well as Vietnam’s economic integration process to the world.
With an aim of creating a forum for State management agencies, associations, business community and experts to discuss and comment on the Draft of the Labor Code, Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM), Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), Vietnam Leather, Footwear and Handbag Association (LEFASO), Vietnam Electronic Industries Association (VEIA), American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham Vietnam), Japan Business Association in Vietnam (JBAV) jointly organize the Conference on “Comments and recommendations to the Labor Code revision from the business community”.
