![]() Chris Blank, Chairman, Founder, and CEO, Pharmacity Vietnam Chris Blank is Chairman, Founder, and CEO of Pharmacity, Vietnam’s largest retail pharmacy chain, established in 2011. Pharmacity’s vision is being the most convenient pharmacy chain where you can fully entrust your health and wellness in Vietnam. Chris Blank spent nearly 10 years in the financial services industry, holding several senior managerial positions, including a key role in the development of the largest securities trading and brokerage firm by market share in Vietnam, before establishing Pharmacity. Over 10 years of development, Pharmacity has been a pioneer in the modern retail pharmacy space of Vietnam. With his strong leadership and passion, the company has been rapidly expanding throughout Ho Chi Minh City, and now nation-wide. Pharmacity pharmacies are becoming the local consumer favorite due to its strong value proposition, satisfying customers through its commitment to authentic products with clear origins, convenience, and an attractive assortment of products on offer. Chris Blank has been the chair of AmCham Healthcare Committee since 1 Dec 2018 and is continuing to co-chair the Committee for the 2020 and 2021 terms. The Committee represents for more than 70 members of the AmCham Vietnam Healthcare Network. Chris Blank shall be responsible to lead the Committee to fulfill its vision which is being a key strategic partner for promoting health and wellness and shaping the healthcare industry in Vietnam. |

Throughout his consulting career, he has been responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-profile, profitable, and mission-critical solutions for global Fortune 500 clients. This has included market entry and expansion strategies, acquisition target analysis, operational turnarounds, regulatory and risk management, restructurings, and market exits. Luke is the co-chair of the AmCham Healthcare Committee, the Partner in Charge of Strategy Consulting for KPMG Vietnam and Cambodia, and runs the firm’s Healthcare and Life Sciences practice. |

![]() Dr. Lan Dam, Director, External Affairs, MSD Vietnam Lan Dam has over 22 years of experience in healthcare industry with passion and dedication on improving the quality of Vietnamese people’s health. She has been involved in many healthcare projects/programs and policy shaping aiming to increase patient access to new innovative treatments in different organizations. In MSD, she leads Policy, Market Access and Communications department which bringing her opportunities to pursue her commitment and contribution to the healthcare mission in Vietnam, as well as to help the innovative pharmaceutical industry maintains sustainable business and continued investments. She also has a passion on promoting sustainability – “meeting our own needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”. Lan Dam holds a Medical Doctor degree from Hanoi Medical University, Doctor of Business Administration from American Heritage University of Southern California and Master of Science (Sustainability Leadership) from University of Cambridge, the U.K. Lan Dam is a new member of Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce, HCM chapter in Vietnam and serves as Board liaison of its Healthcare Committee. |
