AmCham Vietnam
Purposes
The purpose of the committee is to increase the value of AmCham membership for logistics and supply chain related members across all industry sectors. The committee aims to provide a forum to network and discuss related industry trends, challenges, opportunities and regulatory matters. The committee will engage cross chapter with other AmCham committees to drive shared interests in the development of local supply chains and supply chain talent in Vietnam.
Goals
- Grow the AmCham membership base of logistics and supply chain companies along with those companies of whom supply chain is of critical importance to success
- Keep members updated about industry, technological, regulatory and other developments
- Support and promote the industry’s development in Vietnam and engage relevant local and foreign groups to encourage positive trends in the industry
- Help address the growing shortage of supply chain talent in Vietnam through promoting industry awareness and events
- Proactively engage regulatory agencies and Vietnam customs to improve efficiencies in the both international and domestic transport and supply chain processes to improve competitiveness of companies operating in Vietnam
- Develop AmCham as the first contact point for member companies to raise concerns & challenges at the relevant government bodies
- Create relevant and meaningful networking opportunities for AmCham membership
- Constructively engage the Vietnam’s political leadership

![]() Astrid Vienney, Kuehne & Nagel Vietnam Astrid Vienney is a seasoned global supply chain professional with over 10 years of international experience across Europe and Asia. She is Swedish and grew up in Stockholm. Astrid now resides in Vietnam since 2013 with her husband and daughter. Background working for both MNCs and SMEs focused on retail; now on logistics service provider side for the world’s largest shipping company Kuehne + Nagel. She is in charge of Kuehne + Nagel Vietnam’s International Supply Chain department. People, processes and technology owner with a focus on setting up and leading strong teams and support new implementations. Astrid covers warehousing, road, sea, Order Management and visibility systems. Astrid holds a business degree from ESERP Business School Barcelona and is fluent in 5 languages. Astrid has been an active member of the AmCham community for the past 6 years including as a volunteer for the Governors Ball Committee. |
![]() Geert V. Doorslaer , DTK Logistics Solutions Geert has more than 33 year of international experience in logistics. He is Senior Consultant at DTK Logistics Solutions, one of the oldest private Vietnamese freight forwarders, with head office in Ho Chi Minh City, branch offices in Hanoi/Haiphong and Danang. The company offers logistics solutions for the domestic Vietnamese market, and is also specialized in air & sea freight movements in & out of Vietnam on a global scale.Geert was born in Belgium and started his logistics career in Antwerp, Belgium in 1984. In 1993 Geert decided to expand his horizon by moving into Alexandria, Egypt, where he continued working in the logistics sector for 4 years. In 1997 Geert emigrated to Dubai, United Arab Emirates where he worked for Barwil/Wilhelm Wilhelmsen, one of the leading shipping companies in the world. In 2002 Geert joined the Barwil team in Vietnam. As of 2003 Geert was running his own logistics company. Since 2015 he’s been part of the DTK Logistics Solutions Company, and has been meanwhile working & residing in Vietnam for the last 16 years.Geert joined AmCham in 2016 and was an active board member of the Logistics and Supply Chain committee. He became one of the two Vice-Chairmen of the Committee in 2017. Since September 2018, Geert has been appointed to be Co-Chair of the AmCham Logistics and Supply Chain Committee. |
![]() Tom Tabouring, Tin Nghia Logistics Tom started his career as a recruitment consultant where he specialized in the logistics industry allowing him to expand his network in and outside of Vietnam. It did not take too long for Tom to eventually join a logistics company where his sales and strategic skills could be implemented. Thus, today Tom is the Strategic Project Manager of Tin Nghia Logistics, a fully integrated logistics provider owning a massive logistics land bank and warehouses throughout Vietnam. In addition to that, the company is also offering additional services such as Freight Forwarding, Customs Brokerage and Express / E-Commerce. Tom graduated from the Swiss hospitality university “Les Roches Global Hospitality Education” and speaks 6 languages from which 5 fluent. |
![]() Tuan Nguyen, ANT Lawyers Mr Tuan Nguyen is the Managing Partner of ANT Lawyers and has overall responsibility for the management of the firm. As one of a few lawyers in Vietnam with business background, with over 20 years of experience, Mr Nguyen has advised and represented clients including international companies, international organizations of all sizes and individual clients whom are interested in doing business or needing legal services or representation in Vietnam in Transportation, Logistics, Shipping, and the compliance of the related industries among others. Besides, Mr Nguyen is also a mentor at Warwick Business School to supervise MBA candidates whom undertake graduation projects. Mr Nguyen obtained a B.A Degree from Foreign Trade University, Vietnam, LL.B. Degree from Hanoi National University – School of Law, Vietnam, and MBA Degree from Warwick Business School, UK. He is a member of the Hanoi Bar Association, Vietnam Bar Federation. Mr Nguyen is accredited mediator by Center for Effective Dispute Resolution (UK), and Vietnam Ministry of Justice, and Weinstein JAMS International Fellow in Alternative Dispute Resolution (US). Mr Nguyen has worked for and with a number of MNCs, State Owned Enterprise (SOE), and private enterprises in various positions in management, compliance, and in-house counsel before practicing law. He has two years of experience working in the United States. |
