![]() Geert van Doorslaer, Senior Consultant, DTK Logistics Geert has more than 33 year of international experience in logistics. He is Senior Consultant at DTK Logistics Solutions, one of the oldest private Vietnamese freight forwarders, with head office in Ho Chi Minh City, branch offices in Hanoi/Haiphong and Danang. The company offers logistics solutions for the domestic Vietnamese market, and is also specialized in air & sea freight movements in & out of Vietnam on a global scale.Geert was born in Belgium and started his logistics career in Antwerp, Belgium in 1984. In 1993 Geert decided to expand his horizon by moving into Alexandria, Egypt, where he continued working in the logistics sector for 4 years. In 1997 Geert emigrated to Dubai, United Arab Emirates where he worked for Barwil/Wilhelm Wilhelmsen, one of the leading shipping companies in the world. In 2002 Geert joined the Barwil team in Vietnam. As of 2003 Geert was running his own logistics company. Since 2015 he’s been part of the DTK Logistics Solutions Company, and has been meanwhile working & residing in Vietnam for the last 16 years.Geert joined AmCham in 2016 and was an active board member of the Logistics and Supply Chain committee. He became one of the two Vice-Chairmen of the Committee in 2017. Since September 2018, Geert has been appointed to be Co-Chair of the AmCham Logistics and Supply Chain Committee. |
![]() Trang Nguyen, Senior Director, Vietnam, Regulatory and Government Affairs, FedEx Express Asia Pacific Prior to consulting, Trang worked for the US-ASEAN Business Council in Hanoi, where she provided Fortune 500 companies support and advice to understand, assess and mitigate reputational, regulatory and political risks affecting their operations in Vietnam. Earlier, Trang was an Advocacy and Communications Specialist in various international NGOs such as Action Aid, UNDP, and Plan International, where she provided technical assistance to government agencies. Trang has also worked as a journalist in Vietnam Television, and Fashion Newspaper. She also spent five years working in the business sector including two years as Head of Business Promotion Department for Hanoi Business Associations. Trang has a wealth of public affairs experience, especially with government engagement and crisis management. Trang has spent 20-years building deep relationships with the business, political and civil-society leaders in Vietnam. Trang has a Masters degree from Vietnam National University where she studied International Relations in 2007-2009. |
![]() Tom Tambouring, Strategic Project Manager, Tin Nghia Logistics Tom started his career as a recruitment consultant where he specialized in the logistics industry allowing him to expand his network in and outside of Vietnam. It did not take too long for Tom to eventually join a logistics company where his sales and strategic skills could be implemented. Thus, today Tom is the Strategic Project Manager of Tin Nghia Logistics, a fully integrated logistics provider owning a massive logistics land bank and warehouses throughout Vietnam. In addition to that, the company is also offering additional services such as Freight Forwarding, Customs Brokerage and Express / E-Commerce. Tom graduated from the Swiss hospitality university “Les Roches Global Hospitality Education” and speaks 6 languages from which 5 fluent. |
![]() Tuan Nguyen, Managing Partner, ANT Lawyers Mr Tuan Nguyen is the Managing Partner of ANT Lawyers and has overall responsibility for the management of the firm. As one of a few lawyers in Vietnam with business background, with over 20 years of experience, Mr Nguyen has advised and represented clients including international companies, international organizations of all sizes and individual clients whom are interested in doing business or needing legal services or representation in Vietnam in Transportation, Logistics, Shipping, and the compliance of the related industries among others. Besides, Mr Nguyen is also a mentor at Warwick Business School to supervise MBA candidates whom undertake graduation projects. Mr Nguyen obtained a B.A Degree from Foreign Trade University, Vietnam, LL.B. Degree from Hanoi National University – School of Law, Vietnam, and MBA Degree from Warwick Business School, UK. He is a member of the Hanoi Bar Association, Vietnam Bar Federation. Mr Nguyen is accredited mediator by Center for Effective Dispute Resolution (UK), and Vietnam Ministry of Justice, and Weinstein JAMS International Fellow in Alternative Dispute Resolution (US). Mr Nguyen has worked for and with a number of MNCs, State Owned Enterprise (SOE), and private enterprises in various positions in management, compliance, and in-house counsel before practicing law. He has two years of experience working in the United States. |
![]() Sai Ponugati, Country Manager, P&G Sai Ramana Ponugoti has led P&G’s Vietnam operations since 2019, serving Vietnamese consumers through leadership brands across all P&G categories: Baby Care, Hair Care, Fabric & Home Care, Skin & Personal Care, Feminine Care, and Oral Care. He works with distributors and retail partners to create value for consumers through defining Commercial strategies, leading Business Operations, and building market strategies—to ensure joint category growth. Sai joined P&G in 2001 as an Account Executive in India. In his various leadership roles, he gained extensive experience leading diverse businesses across trade channels spanning different consumer goods categories. He has demonstrated expertise on developing markets, having worked in markets across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa, and by leading P&G’s Global Innovation center for low-income-markets. He also has extensive experience on ‘Shopper-centric retail innovation’ and partnering with retailers to create category value. Sai is passionate about making a difference to the lives of consumers in developing markets through P&G brands. A strong advocate for talent development, Sai has worked across diverse cultures through his P&G career. He has lived in India, Singapore and Switzerland. Before being appointed as the General Director for P&G Vietnam, Sai was the Sales Head of India, the Middle East, and Africa for Baby Care. He was also a key member of the Regional Business Unit leadership team based in Geneva, Switzerland from 2016-2019. Sai graduated with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut, and holds an MBA degree in Marketing & Operations from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow. He is married to his spouse Swetha and has 2 children: Anshul, 11 years old and Aditi, 7 years old. |
