Manfred Otto is a New York lawyer helping clients with blockchain, fintech and regtech matters across multiple jurisdictions, including corporate, finance and securities law, AML/KYC regulations, data protection law, and intellectual property transactions as well as related dispute resolution.
Having designed web pages in the 1990s then working for Sony and others in Japan in hardware and software development, Manfred is a lawyer with hands-on technology experience. He is currently collaborating with a major blockchain R&D company to advocate for a regulatory sandbox and a legal framework for cryptocurrencies in Vietnam. Regulators and others stakeholders in Southeast Asia frequently invite Manfred to speak on international blockchain law.
